MKV International Limited is an import and sourcing company registered in England & Wales and headquartered in Covent Garden, London. We supply retailers, importers and brands across the United Kingdom and the European Union with products manufactured in India — from organic foods to apparel, leather goods, home & kitchen lines and handicrafts.
Our role covers the full trade cycle: identifying and qualifying manufacturers, floating RFQs, negotiating commercial terms, managing sampling and quality control, and coordinating shipping and customs clearance into the UK and EU.
We act as a sourcing and buying agent, connecting UK and EU buyers directly with qualified Indian manufacturers — we are not ourselves the manufacturer, brand owner or regulatory "responsible person" for any product we help source. Where a category carries its own licensing regime (cosmetics or food, for example), that formal compliance role sits with the manufacturer's own compliant export arrangement or with the client's UK/EU entity; our part is to verify supplier documentation and connect the right partners.
A note on confidentiality: our clients compete in crowded retail markets, and supplier relationships are commercially sensitive. We therefore operate under NDA and do not publish client names, store programmes or volumes. What we can always share openly is who we are — and exactly how we work.

We qualify every manufacturer before an RFQ is sent. These are the things that matter to us — and to the retailers we buy for.
Recognised certifications relevant to your category — GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISO 9001, LWG, SEDEX/BSCI, organic certification — with documentation you can actually produce on request.
IEC registration and export experience are preferred. Strong domestic manufacturers with genuine quality systems are also considered — the merchant-export route exists for a reason.
The ability to develop counter-samples against a tech pack, on time, and to hold that standard in bulk. Sampling discipline predicts production discipline.
Realistic lead times and capacity commitments. We would always rather hear "6 weeks" upfront than "4 weeks" that becomes 8. Delays managed early are manageable.
UK and EU retailers audit their supply chains. Social compliance — fair wages, safe conditions, no child labour — is non-negotiable and increasingly checked at source.
We build programmes, not transactions. Partners who invest in the relationship — consistent quality, priority capacity — get the repeat business that comes with it.
Every genuine supplier enquiry receives a reply — even if the answer is "not right now, but we'll keep your profile on file."
Specs, tolerances, AQL levels, payment terms, delivery dates — agreed and documented before production begins.
Inspections follow the AQL level fixed in the PO. No surprise claim-backs, no moving goalposts after goods are made.
We never charge manufacturers registration, listing or "file processing" fees. Our income comes from the buy side of the trade.
Send us your company profile — certifications, product range and export history — and we'll come back to you within two business days.
